When we started our Custom Home search we had a few things in mind. Specifically, we wanted a small locally owned business where we were a name and not just a number. We hit the jackpot when we found Jarman Homes. Neil and Joy were both a pleasure and professional from day one. Neil is very meticulous and we knew he would build our home as if it were his own. And he did just that. The workmanship and quality is 5+ Stars! We have had so many compliments about the detail and quality of our home from visitors. Joy was prompt and clear in all her communications. She took notes from every design meeting to help make each selection. This was pertinent as she not only helped make the house flow beautifully but she also helped us stay on budget. We were nervous building as this was our first experience but we were also planning our dream/forever home. Looking back, we truly could not have planned a better experience. Our experience with Jarman Homes was exceptional. Joy has great taste and her willingness to work with us to make the home personally appealing and conform to our preferences was remarkable. Neil worked with us to make the home truly custom and was especially responsive to our suggestions during and after the building process. Our favorite things about our new home is the quality craftsmanship. The home has a unique floor plan and we especially love the two-story family room, the wainscoting and coffered ceiling in our large office and the size and inordinate number of cabinets and granite in the kitchen. The Jarman's really delivered quality construction on time in a truly professional and warm and friendly manner.
Building a home can be an overwhelming and daunting task. Working originally with a different builder that is exactly how the process was going to be, along with unorganized and chaotic. Then we met Neil and Joy. And WOW, what an experience! Jeff and I were not only building a home but we were planning a wedding, selling two homes, moving to an apartment and blending two families with three children. You would think this would create a lot of anxiety but it was the exact opposite and Neil and Joy were a big part of that. They made every step in the process clear and concise. Whenever we had a question or concern they were quick to respond and do whatever it took to ease our minds. Joy was phenomenal when it came to putting everything together, cabinet design, wall and floor colors, and even door knobs! She has such a great eye for combinations but at the same time made sure our own likes and tastes were not ignored. Then certainly Neil put it all together, always so calm and reliable. His follow through and follow-up are second to none. Jeff and I never had any issues that couldn't be resolved by Neil. We were thrilled with the finished product and the service a year after we moved in. There's no doubt in our minds that we would have Jarman Homes build another home for us, because that is what they created... A beautiful home!
